Over the years, many people have come to Tasse to learn various coffee techniques, and after completing their studies, they may go to work in coffee shops in Hong Kong. However, many students choose to leave Hong Kong and develop in foreign countries. I am unfamiliar with the road of life. How can I develop my interests into a career in a foreign place? In order to solve this problem, we have recently implemented the "Tasse Coffee Overseas Coffee Shop Internship Program" in the hope that trainees will have more opportunities to put what they have learned into practice. 💬 What is the plan?
☕ Internship at Tasse Coffee Roastery in Tokyo, Japan or Haven Brews in Toronto, Canada. The dates and times can be negotiated directly with the coffee shop
💬 What does the job include?
☕ It depends on your ability and what you have learned in the past. You can help at the bar.Latte Art, brew hand-brew coffee, communicate with guests, etc.
💬 Who can apply?
☕ Complete the designated international certificate courses at Tasse Coffee Lab starting from 2024 to have a chance to get a place!
Step 1: Complete any of the following courses:
- City & Guilds
- TQUK Level 1
- Latte Art Grading System White Grade
- Italian Barista Certificate in any Basic
- SCA Any Subject Foundation
Step 2: Complete any one of the following courses:
- TQUK Level 2
- Latte Art Grading System Orange
- Italian Barista Certificate Advanced in any subject
- SCA Intermediate in any subject
Or you will be directly awarded a place if you have completed the CQI Q-grader course✨
💬 Is an interview required?
☕ Yes!The purpose of the interview is mainly to let the coffee shop manager understand your personality, background and abilities, but please rest assured that the internship interview requirements will not be too high. As long as there is normal communication, there will generally be no problem!

Eligible candidates must have completed specific international certificate courses at Tasse Coffee Lab. The internship responsibilities include latte art, manual brewing, and customer interaction. Interviews are required but not overly demanding. This program is a great chance to gain experience, explore coffee cultures, and enhance professional skills for those interested in immigrating, entering the industry, or starting a business abroad.
