The Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) has launched the new SCA Skills Diploma, further recognizing professional skills in the coffee industry and providing in-depth knowledge and practical experience to help students quickly adapt to the workplace. The four new diplomas—the SCA Café Diploma, SCA Roastery Diploma, SCA Sustainable Coffee Diploma, and SCA Coffee Trade Diploma—require specific courses across seven disciplines.

SCA Barista Skills will teach you how to operate an espresso machine, make espresso and various beverages, and create smooth milk foam andLatte Art, customer service, work and financial management, allowing students to become well-rounded baristas.

This course covers the practical skills needed to operate a coffee bar, including setting the grinder, frothing milk andLatte Arttechnology, health and safety standards, customer service, and basic business practices.
