This academy is the only SCA Premier Training Campus in Hong Kong, signifying that its teaching environment and facilities are accredited. The Specialty Coffee Association of Europe (SCA) has launched the new SCA Skills Diploma, further recognizing professional skills in the coffee industry and providing in-depth knowledge and practical experience to help students quickly adapt to the job market. The four new diplomas include the SCA Café Diploma, SCA Roastery Diploma, SCA Sustainable Coffee Diploma, and SCA Coffee Trade Diploma, each requiring completion of designated courses from seven disciplines.
Introduction to Coffee serves as an introductory course to the other five courses offered by SCA, providing basic instruction on coffee cultivation, agriculture, extraction, roasting, flavor evaluation, and the general coffee distribution structure. This course is suitable for those new to coffee or who wish to learn general coffee fundamentals.
