Coffee Sustainability Foundation is the prerequisite for all other modules in the Coffee Sustainability Program.

The Coffee Sustainability Program attracts participants from various sectors of the coffee industry, many of whom are full-time professionals who wish to:

  1. Integrate sustainability principles or projects into existing work, or

The basic course will introduce the main sustainable development models and challenges faced by the coffee industry, covering Environmental, economic and social issues, and guides participants to understand practical methods and emerging tools to address challenges. After completing this course, participants will have established basic sustainable development knowledge and thinking, and be able to practice sustainability in their own environment.
This Foundation course introduces the key sustainability models and challenges faced by the coffee industry, examining environmental, economic, and social issues. Learners will also be introduced to practical opportunities and emerging tools to address these challenges. By completing the Coffee Sustainability Foundation, participants will build the essential knowledge and mindset to begin practicing sustainability in their own contexts.

      Students must pass SCA Online written examination (70% or above) Only then can you obtain the Foundation certificate.
      To obtain the Foundation certificate, students must pass the online written exam administered by SCA with a minimum score of 70%.
