May-August 2023 Recap – Embracing Education and Innovation 📚💡
During this period, we witnessed a series of remarkable moments and met many like-minded partners on the journey of education and innovation 🤝🏻
⏪ May
Thank you to Olympic fencer Nicholas Ng for joining our pour-over coffee and latte art experience. He is a cheerful and approachable young man who worked hard to learn unfamiliar coffee knowledge and skills. In a short time, he quickly mastered the essence of pour-over techniques and brewed coffee for everyone to taste 😆 This young athlete, busy with various competitions, even edited the class footage himself and posted it on his YouTube channel, helping more people get to know us.
In the same month, we collaborated with China Life (Overseas) to host two large-scale pour-over and latte art events for 120 participants! Coffee became a bridge, connecting the company’s employees with VIP clients through care and interaction, making it a highlight of the company’s annual events.
⏪ June
A group of students from Hong Chi Hong Kong Buddhist Pui Kwong School, a special needs school, showed great interest in latte art. We helped set up a coffee corner for them, and during the 8-session latte art course, they worked harder than average students to adapt to new instructors, tools, and knowledge. There’s no one who can’t learn, only those who don’t want to learn. We hope to do our part to arouse social attention to the career planning and employment needs of SEN (Special Educational Needs) students, while promoting coffee culture and sustainability.
⏪ July
In the sweltering summer, we partnered with the Hong Kong Young Women’s Christian Association to offer a 30-hour coffee vocational skills training course. Through learning pour-over coffee, siphon coffee, espresso, latte art, and coffee bean roasting, we helped young people develop professional skills, reducing their confusion in career development. Some young participants even actively applied for international certifications, adding shining points to their resumes.
⏪ August
Our limited “hidden” 3D latte art course 🎨🥛 made its debut in a corporate collaboration, which was well-received by AXA Asia. The creativity of coffee art is boundless – participants’ works were highly imaginative and lifelike. Some even “painted” their pet dogs on coffee, while others attempted 2D tropical fish designs 🐠
We are also grateful for the collaborations with various enterprises and organizations over the year. With participants from all over the world, our instructors have become proficient in switching to full English teaching mode effortlessly!
During this period, we were committed to promoting education and innovation, moving forward hand in hand with partners from all sectors. We believe that through knowledge sharing and innovative practices, we can make greater contributions to the development of coffee culture.
Stay tuned for our final recap to continue witnessing our growth journey! ✨
